Hi World

So I have been horrible at blogging. Again many things have been going on since my last post!
1- We were bags of jelly bellys for halloween. See pictures below! Just call me cheap.
2- We went to Mt. Rushmore for a mini vacation and it was lot's of fun! I can cross something off my list!
3- It is currently 7 degrees outside in Billings. I am on house arrest til spring. brrrrrrrrr....
4- My brother got home from his mission to Japan and I got to go home to california to see him! It is so good to have him back and he was such a good missionary!
5- Yes we are having a BABY!! I am due May 18th and can not be more excited/nervous/overwhelmed/anxious/blessed! I have been feeling ok besides just being tired constantly and throwing up a couple times a week. I am not quite sure if I am ready for such a big calling in life but I guess I have no choice at this point!! I will be needing lot's of advice and tips from all you great mommies out there!!

I knew I would catch your attention with the heading....perverts. I just wanted to give you a quick recap and I promise I will write a good post soon!
1. job is getting better but its still just a job
2. Matt has had a week off of school and its been amazing! I am sad to see it start again.
3.still dont have many friends and I am weirdly ok with it....i am becoming a hermit i think
4. My calling in church is RS chorister. Score.
5. My brother gets home from his mission to Japan on 11.11.11. How cool right!?
6. Anniversary is on Monday. 3 years have flown by!
7. I miss the familiarity of Utah and all my wonderful friends still.
8. I love TV more than ever
9. Matt turned 27 yesterday and said his sperm are dying and that he needs a child. I dont believe him.

Big Sky Country

                 Hello from Montana! Well it has been a crazy busy couple of weeks so I am just now getting the time to fill all you in on whats been going down. Warning, it will be a long post. So we moved in to our house on June 25th with the help of Matt's wonderful family who helped us hang everything so it looks like we have lived here forever! It's great! I love my house! So much room and privacy! It's probably my favorite thing about Montana so far haha. See my pictures posted below.
                    I started work on Monday the 27th. Needless to say it was the longest day of my life. I work at a HUGE dental office. 4 doctors a day, 6 hygienists a day, and i can't count how many front desk and assistants there are. We communicate through ear pieces. I work 3 days a week/13 hour days. Yes, 13 hours of cleaning teeth. My hygiene friends understand how crazy this is. Anyways I thought I would go in to work and be trained on the new software, protocols, papers, etc. because all of it is so different from what I am used to. NOPE. I was booked with patients all day long and I didnt even know how to turn on the computer. I guess there was so miscommunication with the employees. So I pretended as best I could and went to work. Some people maybe did not know what I wasnt trained on anything and were not the nicest. So a combination of not knowing what to do, mean people, pms, and exhaustion from moving equals......yep you guessed it! CRYING!! I cried on my first day of work! It is not like me at all and I was so embarassed but all I could do was cry. I know people talked about it after because the next day dentists I hadnt met yet were coming up to me and saying "so i heard you had a rough first day." O great. Anyways, things are getting better. I'm getting use to the long hours, crazy protocols, and "constructive criticism".
                     Enough about my job. Matt is SO busy with school. When they said I wouldn't seem him they meant it. He's gone all day at school, comes home, eats dinner, and then he's off to studying til bedtime. What a life right!? It hasnt been too hard yet because I went to California for a wedding last weekend then my mom, sister, and grandma came to visit so I havnt' had a dull moment yet but I'm sure this not seeing him thing is gonna get old real soon. He really likes it though and has met a couple guys who are lds in his class. We are having a bbq on saturday so I can meet their wives and maybe make a friend or two :)! Since I do not know onc single person in Montana except for my husband and my doggy. Anways I will fill you in on my fun weekend getaway to cali on my next post cause my hubs needs to use the computer for studying...go figure.

                     

Tomorrow is the big move

Tomorrow we are packing up our ghetto little place and moving to Montana. When I tell people wer are mopving to Montana the only response I get is "Montana!? whats in montana!!". My thoughts exactly.  I am excited, scared, sad, and overwhelmed all at the same time. I excited for a new adventure, job, and place to live but I am sad to leave all my friends and family and life in Utah. Lets face it....who wants to come and visit Montana? So I know I will be saying farewell to some dear friends for awhile until we move again to hopefully somewhere where people actually WANT to visit :). I have a feeling these next 2 years are going to be some of the hardest but best times of my life. Ready or not its coming so I just hope I can have a positive attitude about everything. If you ever find my complaining on my blog please remind to to stay positive haha! Thanks to all my friends who have been there for me and made life fun. I will miss you guys more than you know but you have not gotten rid of my yet! I will be back! :)

Blessed

Our lives are FINALLY coming together and we feel so blessed. We found a cute little house to rent in billings that has a fenced backyard for oak and allows dogs! I had an interview when we went there last week to look for places to live and just found out yesterday that I got the job! I was so worried about money and how we were going to afford things and I still am but now I know that we will at least have some income coming in! Matt still is in the process of applying for scholarships through the air force and navy so we still dont know about that but it is nice to have some big things out of the way! We move June 24th and I start my new job on the 27th! It is such a blessing that everything has worked out so far. I know its because of paying tithing that somehow we always have just enough to make it through. I am scared but excited for our new adventures in Billings and will miss all the wonderful friends I will be leaving behind in Utah.

Now it is time for a funny story. So when we were in billings we stayed at the most ghetto hotel ever! No lie. I will post pictures soon and you can see for yourselves. Anyway we were laying on the bed watching tv after a long day of looking for places to live and I see a bandaid on the bed. I ask matt "were you wearing a bandaid today"? He replied "no, why"? I get a horrified look on my face and say "because there is a bandaid on our bed and I wasnt wearing one either"!! Nasty!! So the whole night we were freaking out about what else wasnt clean in our room and how nasty everything was. So in the morning I was putting on my fancy shoes for my interview and looked inside and saw that i had put bandaids on the inside heel so they would not rub and sure enough one of the bandaids was missing. Needless to say I felt a little bit better about staying there but would NOT recommend it to anyone! haha

St. George Weekend and Easter!

Im so lazy at downloading pictures but I have finally done it now so I can post. We had an AMAZING time in st george with the bells and jacobsens. We stayed at an amazing house and the pool was literally 5 steps away. We laid out a lot and ate and played games. It was much needed and a great pre-vacation to the cruise we will be taking with them THIS MONTH!! Can't wait! For easter Matt and I just stayed home and relaxed and dyed easter eggs. We thought about hiding eggs for our dog to find but that would just be a bit much! :) Enjoy the pics!

Having the blues....

It is suppose to be spring here in the great state of Utah......not so much. I hear no birds, i see no green grass, the sun is not shinning bright out in the sky with cherry blossoms on the trees. There is snow on the ground, grey clouds blanketing the sky, and wind blowing against the door. Im done with winter utah, i want spring! I will be the first to admit that I get seasonal depression. It's depressing being locked up inside all day because you dont want to freeze if you step outside. Then I look up the weather in Cali where my parents live and that dosnt help much either. Wishing I was in cali right now thats for sure. But there is hope on the horizon! We will be taking a little trip to St george this weekend with the Bell's to some better weather.... 80 DEGREE WEATHER!!! Yes! I cannot wait to lay out by the pool and wear flip flips and capris! That is what I am looking forward to this week!!

How great are friends?! I have so many great friends from so many places that I have met at different times in my life. Elementary school, high school, college, hygiene school, my ward, and those random places! I appreciate all the memories I have because of my friends. Some friendships fade a little, some stay the same, and some grow stronger but they are still all my friends. I like to think that I have the most wonderful friends in the world! Cause I do!! Everyone needs friends to laugh with, vent to, and share life with. Friendships take a lot of work and sometimes it's not easy  but it is well worth it in the long run. Of course my husband is my best friend but I really think it's so important to have other friends to turn to. I am grateful for all my friends and the love they show me. Take time to get together with an old friend or see how they are doing. I know all my friendships will last forever. Thanks for being my friend friends!

Happenings

I thought I would write since I havn't in awhile. Here are the latest happenings....sorry no pictures I am to lazy at the moment!

-We are going on a cruise to mexico in may, I am counting down the days. So excited! and Matt has never been so I am even more excited!
-We are waiting to hear back from the navy if Matt will get a scholarship for PA school. I will be happy/nervous at the same time if he gets it. We are also still looking into the airforce so I will keep you posted.
-My dog fell out of my car while I was driving and I think we are both scared for life. Haha she has a couple scars and patches of hair missing but I think she's fine. I will not be rolling down my window anytime soon.
- Now that I know where we are moving I am antsy to just move already! I want to enjoy my last couple months in Utah but ya know how it is when your ready for the next phase of your life. Once I get there I will probably be wishing I was back in Utah but that's just how I work :)
- I have been sewing a lot lately. I will have to post pictures soon! I probably go to Hobby Lobby once a week to get new craft stuff. That store is the most amazing place ever. Thank the heavens that they have one in Billings.
-Thanks for everyone who reads my blog/stalks me. I feel loved!

My favorite music

I love music. I love how certain songs can remind you of certain times, moments, people, and experiences. It's like a type of journal in a way I guess. I have always said that if I had three wishes that one of them would be to have my life be put to soundtrack so there's always a song playing for every occasion on my life like in the movies. I mean how great would that be!? Except for the scary times in life cause I don't like the scary music. A girls worst nightmare......

Yes...it has happened.....I have lost my wedding ring. Im still numb. My precious wedding ring that I have only had for 2 1/2 years and is one of my favorite things. I don't know how and have searched the house up and down. Wedding ring please return yourself to me soon because I miss you. Yours truly, Caitlyn

FINALLY!!!

It's official....after waiting and waiting and hoping and praying and wishing and dreaming and praying some more....we are moving to MONTANA for matts pa school!! So excited and nervous at the same time! I am so proud of Matt for all his hard work! We will be moving in June and Matt starts school in July. It is such a blessing that he got into school so we can finally get on with another chapter is our lives. I was hoping for Vegas just cause I am not to fond of the cold but i will more than welcome the cold weather of Montana if it means Matt gets to start his future career. We will be expecting lots of visitors to come and see us :)! Here we come Montana!!!

Little Devil

Okay so my dog is 7 months old now and Im pretty sure she's going through lets call them the "teen years". My sweet little pup has been a hellian lately. Examples.

1. We make her lay on her dog bed at night....in the middle of the night I will wake up, turn my head, and there is my dog laying her head on my pillow staring at me. Creepy? A little. The little turd waits til we are asleep and jumps up on our bed and makes herself comfortable.
2. She decided one day to take off on her own. She's always been good about staying in the yard and one day i went out and called her name and no answer. After 5 minutes of looking like an idiot walking down the street yelling her name i started to freak out. I get a phone call 10 minutes later telling me that they have my dog at....KMART! Kmart is across the highway and like 2 miles down the road! I dont know how she got there but needless to say she got a good spankin.
3. After loosing trust I decided to leave her alone outside for a whole 2 minutes. Yep, she ran away again. This time I found her in a neighborhood across the highway just sniffing away. Im sure timeout in the bathroom for 30 minutes will teach her a lesson.
4. After bath time she so graciously went and layed on our bed to make sure the bed was nice and wet too.
5. Her little puppy nibble has now turned into a not so comfortable dog bite when shes playing. My hands look like I have a little cutting problem.

6. She is the greatest whiner. She will whine until you take her on a walk.....you think im joking come over and time how long she can whine until she gets her way. I have a premadona dog.

I am hoping this is just a doggy phase and I can eventually have my sweet puppy back. I guess thats what my mom probably thought about me during my teen years too! :)

Goodbye 2010!! Hello 2011!

Wow it seems like this year has gone by sooo fast! So much has changed and its about to change even more! (hopefully)! Heres our 2010 recap!

January! Took a little trip on the fun bus to wendover with chelsea and doyle! You gotta try it!

February! Spent valentines day with my family in california

March! I took my dreaded 8 hour national boards test. Not fun but glad to be over with and I passed!! Had some fun with friends!

April! Took my WREB to get my license! Went to the hindu temple to celebrate rashana or something like that!

May! I graduated from hygiene school! Yahoo!

June! We went on a little vacation to Havasupai and Disneyland with kylee and dustin! What an adventure! Got my first job as a hygienist down in Nephi, UT. Lets hope none of you ever have to go there its......interesting.

July! We got our puppy that we have been dreaming of for 2 years! Oakley Snarr the cutest pup in the world! We moved to the ghetto of spanish fork but made some really good friends and love the ward.

August! Matt graduated with his Bachelors from UVU and turned 26! We celebrated our 2 year anniversary by going up to Logan where it all began!

September! Matt applied for PA schools all around the states. Went on a fun vacation with hygiene friends up to bear lake!

October! Matt found out he has an interview in VEGAS for school!!! Jan 5th cant come soon enough. We were waldo and wenda for the winders annual halloween party!

November! I turned 23 and we spent thanksgiving in wonderful california with my fam.

December! A wonderful month full of ugly sweater parties, sledding, families, and celebration of Christs birth! We spent the new year with our friends kylee and dustin dancing away the night to wii dance 2!

Hope everyone had a great 2010 and and even better 2011!! Im excited for the changes, challenges, and opportunities that are to come!
